FEMA trailers sit empty while storm victims battle cold - Brooklyn
FEMA says rules and regulations prevent delivery of trailers.
Victims of Superstorm Sandy that are seeking shelter, may have to wait longer despite the fact FEMA has more than a hundred ready-built homes for the purpose.
Unused FEMA trailers sit idle along with displaced residents in New York.
Victims do not understand why FEMA will not ship the trailers to provide homes through the worsening cold.
According to FEMA, the answer has to do with legal issues, such as placing trailers in flood zones - despite the fact that no flooding appears to be imminent. Local zones and ordinances are also making the task difficult.
So instead, thanks to legal red tape, many residents will continue sleeping and living wherever they can, without access to sufficient shelter.
There does not appear to be any effort underway to address the issue.

70 million catholics could have voted against Obamma and his fake concern.
Perfect example of why the government is the very las entitiy which should be in charge of anything like disaser relief--and planning to avoid worst case disaster scenarios--health care or any other importand endeavor
Obama and the Marxist Democrat Party could care less about the Sandy victims. The election is over and the victims can go fend for themselves.
