Two school shootings today, three dead

Fatal shootings may have involved a crossbow.


Wyoming authorities are reporting that three people are dead after a possible murder-suicide at a Casper college. A second unrelated shooting has reportedly occurred at Morgan State in Baltimore.

CASPER, WY (Catholic Online) - Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh has told reporters that two people were found dead as a result of apparent wounds near the school's physical science center and another has been found dead at a second location in the community.

The college spokesman Rich Fujita told reporters that the incident involved a faculty member and a student and that a crossbow may have been used as the weapon.

Walsh has added that there are no suspects at large.

No other injuries have been reported.

The campus was locked down at 9 a.m. and no other information is available at this moment.

Another school shooting occurred today at Morgan State University in Baltimore. In that case, the shooting was non-fatal and police have the suspect in custody.
